About this deal

In it's own league, I'd say one of best tools, best value on the market for what they are and I'll definitely recommend trying it. With advanced features and ergonomic design, Dewalt's 18V XR tools are the choice of professionals worldwide. Great for cutting in skirting or drywall, clean grout removal, cutting fabrics, flooring, pipes or timber, preparing surfaces, scraping or sanding. I wouldn't be without mine so much so the guy I work with brought himself one followed by the kitchen fitter we do bits with. Fairly lightweight but not if your above your head for a while , plenty of accessories and works really well as a detail sander .

I’m sure there are cheaper out there but in all fairness, if theres a problem with it, I know I can just pop into Screwfix and they will give me another off the shelf and deal with the faulty one for me. it’s one of them tools where you don’t need it often (for me anyway) but when you do need it it’s the only tool that does it! DeWalt DCS355 XR Brushless Oscillating Multi-Tool delivers up to 57% more run time over brushed motors. As well as having the flexibility to work anywhere, you’ll also work for longer – the brushless motor provides up to 57% more run time than DeWalt’s brushed alternative.

Festool were just as good I'd day, but I've yet to find a stacking box that performs as well as that. The DEWALT DCS355 XR Brushless Oscillating Multi-Tool delivers up to 57% more runtime over brushed motors. That includes the box, the tool itself and the tool is quick release, which we'll go into in a minute.

Keep your Dewalt tools powered up with our range of batteries and chargers, including options compatible with FlexVolt and 18V XR tools. If you’ve never had a multi tool then I’d strongly advise getting one, so handy for cutting boards and investigation holes in ceilings/ boarding etc when looking for leaks or cables. Other alternatives are the Hikoki CV18DBL, the Bosch GOP 18V-28 Professional and the Festool Vecturo OSC 18. It comes with two 2 amp batteries, which aren't great batteries, but there are two of them and you can keep them rolling and you can obviously add to your system.Blades and attachments can be changed quickly without the use of tools, and you’ll get a 29-piece accessory kit to get you started – this includes a 31 x 43mm fast cut wood blade, a 31 x 43mm wood with nails blade, a sanding pad, 25 assorted sanding sheets and a universal blade adaptor.

I've been in the building trade for 30 years so believe me this is well worth having in your tool box. It’s a super handy tool, you can get away with not digging for chisels and occasionally your jigsaw. We use bubble wrap or other suitable packaging materials and then put your items in relevant-sized boxes. The Dewalt DCS355 Multi Tool is probably my most used tool nowadays and Im not sure what I would do without it.We will exchange or refund within the first 30 days if a manufacturers fault is found with this product.

You get plenty of run time out of the battery and does everything the corded version can do ( I upgraded from the corded version). I have used this multi tool for around four years now, I pack it for every job I do as it’s so useful. I love multi tools and this is robust yet the main issue i have wotht his is the button as when you are cutting in awkward angles its hard to hold down the switch and keep a good grip on the tool. This has to be the best Multi-Tool available, the trigger is perfectly placed and speed control is perfect. It has a bright LED light that illuminates dark work surfaces for accurate cutting, whilst the depth control straight cut guide increases cutting accuracy for detailed work.Toolstop Limited is a credit broker, not a lender and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 737231). The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it. This combination tool has dust extraction and a telescopic stand, and it can be used for polishing, grinding and cutting. I've used it to remove tiles , cut pipes (copper and plastic ) in awkward places that nothing else would ever be able to do.
