Another specialty this superstar smartphone flaunts is that it can support up to 9W Reverse Wired Charging. There are some less deceptive parts to the design. The Redmi 9 had a teardrop notch, the Redmi 10 has a punch-hole, which looks more modern to most eyes. We’ve still only just covered the phone’s first camera. The 8MP ultra-wide is closer to what we've expected in a budget phone. It is a low-end OmniVision camera with softer images and limited dynamic range. Not only does this device has an amazing camera setup, a bunch of camera features and gallery filters but the Redmi 10 Prime also comes with a crystal-clear Dual Stereo Speaker setup. Along with that, it also comes with Dual Mics, on the top and the bottom, which helps record audio even on the go making this Superstar a Content Creator’s Paradise. At this affordable level, Samsung and Motorola both use 720p screens with a lower pixel density than the Redmi 10’s. This 6.5-inch screen is very sharp. Pixel density of around 405 pixels per inch is fantastic for a phone this cheap. We find that while the Moto G50 tends to last longer between charges, few will find any reason to complain here. This isn't a super-clever screen that changes refresh rate as required, dipping down on static screens, but it will drop down to 60Hz for apps that don't make use of a higher refresh rate, like Netflix.
Halfway to being a great budget phone
General performance of the Redmi 10 is okay, with some common caveats that come with an entry-level CPU. There are some short waits when you load an app that has not been sitting in the cache, because it was used a moment ago. And there’s some minor lag in the interface in general.
