About this deal

This Superstar comes with a massive 6000mAh battery that again is a stellar upgrade from the previous Redmi 9 Prime. Inspite of increasing the battery by about 20% we have managed to reduce the weight of this Superstar to just 192gms, lightest 6000mAh from the house of Redmi. Another specialty this superstar smartphone flaunts is that it can support up to 9W Reverse Wired Charging. There are some less deceptive parts to the design. The Redmi 9 had a teardrop notch, the Redmi 10 has a punch-hole, which looks more modern to most eyes. Redmi Note 10 is equipped with a 3.54mm tiny punch-hole in-display selfie camera which gives you stunning selfies The Redmi 10's design is a good example of ‘faking it’. This is a concept we've talked about before. Lots of all-plastic phones are dressed up like higher-end ones, with the intention to appear like metal and glass designs.

A great example of why more megapixels is often bad news, this sensor fits 50 million pixels into a very small 1/2.76-inch chip. So where the Oppo Find X3 Pro has sensor pixels of one micron size, these are 0.64 microns. They are some of the tiniest pixels seen in a phone camera.

The legacy of our famous EVOL Design continues in Redmi 10 Prime as well flaunting three gorgeous colors: Next to a slightly older phone you can buy at a similar price (albeit the lesser storage version), the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC, the Redmi 10’s main camera is dismal. Video clips taken with the phone will also often turn out unusable because there is no stabilization. The Redmi 10 Prime promises to deliver a wholesome experience with 16.5cm(6.5) FHD+ 90Hz Adaptive Refresh Rate display. The superstar is smart enough to detect the kind of application usage and accordingly sync to the required refresh rate*, thus optimizing the battery usage as well. For the students or our readers we have the all-new Reading Mode 3.0, it also comes with sunlight mode and dark mode features.

The Xiaomi Redmi 10 does have some more obvious issues with gaming, particularly when compared to a slightly more expensive barnstormer like the Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro. We noticed this when taking photos outside. This kind of screen brightness doesn’t make the preview image appear all that clear in direct sunlight. CamerasThe Redmi 10 by Xiaomi launched in August 2021, arriving a little more than a year after the Redmi 9.

The Xiaomi Redmi 10's screen is one of the stronger parts of the phone, although primarily against rival brands rather than other Xiaomi Androids you might buy. Redmi 10 Prime is equipped with a tiny punch-hole in-display selfie camera, which is an upgrade from the previous generation Redmi 9 Prime. It gives you stunning selfies and enhances the viewing experience by making the camera lens as negligible as a dot. Bad news: where phones at this level typically have one decent camera and a bunch of duds, the Redmi 10 has no good cameras. Until now we've only really had high-quality 50MP cameras in phones, like those of the Oppo Find X3 Pro. But Samsung, as it has done several times in the past, lowers the tone with the S5KJN1 sensor seen here. Talking more about the processor the Helio G88 comes with HyperEngine Game Technology and in addition we also have our Game Turbo mode on MIUI 12.5. To power this Superstar, we have the India Debut for our latest MediaTek Helio G88, A stellar upgrade from the previous gen MediaTek Helio G80 on the Redmi 9 Prime. The Helio G88 produces a higher GPU frequency, Supports 90Hz Refresh Rate and Enhances Photography. All these together help the Redmi 10 Prime reach a whopping AnTuTu score of 238,114*

We’ve still only just covered the phone’s first camera. The 8MP ultra-wide is closer to what we've expected in a budget phone. It is a low-end OmniVision camera with softer images and limited dynamic range. Not only does this device has an amazing camera setup, a bunch of camera features and gallery filters but the Redmi 10 Prime also comes with a crystal-clear Dual Stereo Speaker setup. Along with that, it also comes with Dual Mics, on the top and the bottom, which helps record audio even on the go making this Superstar a Content Creator’s Paradise. At this affordable level, Samsung and Motorola both use 720p screens with a lower pixel density than the Redmi 10’s. This 6.5-inch screen is very sharp. Pixel density of around 405 pixels per inch is fantastic for a phone this cheap. Redmi Note 10 takes the Champion legacy of the Redmi Note series to a whole new level by strengthening the already existing all-round performance with a 16.33cm(6.43) Super AMOLED Display, 48MP Quad Camera and Corning® Gorilla® Glass protection on the Redmi Note 10 protects the device from accidental drops and unwanted scratches The device is fitted with a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor with double tap gestures for easy access

Comes with Z-axis haptic motor, which gives 150 different vibration types for different notifications The Xiaomi Redmi 10 has a 5,000mAh battery, much like most of its arch rivals and its significantly larger siblings. We find that while the Moto G50 tends to last longer between charges, few will find any reason to complain here. This isn't a super-clever screen that changes refresh rate as required, dipping down on static screens, but it will drop down to 60Hz for apps that don't make use of a higher refresh rate, like Netflix.

Halfway to being a great budget phone

General performance of the Redmi 10 is okay, with some common caveats that come with an entry-level CPU. There are some short waits when you load an app that has not been sitting in the cache, because it was used a moment ago. And there’s some minor lag in the interface in general.
